LIFELINE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS PROTECT ASTON MARTIN AT LE MANS

Aston Martin Racing chose Lifeline products to protect the drivers and cars in their auspicious attempt to win LMP1 honours at the famous Sarthe Circuit in France held over June 13th and 14th. Fortunately, the products were not called into use but their superior performance in tests and in action elsewhere made Lifeline Aston Martin Racing's product of choice for the Le Mans Series.

The cars were fitted with Lifeline's award-winning new Zero ZERO fire suppression system, which Aston Martin Racing selected on the basis of its compact size and light weight, both key features for any race team. In the pits, the Aston Martin Racing crew were kitted out with personal belt-mounted hand held fire extinguishers that sit in comfortable wear resistant fabric holsters. For rapidly dealing with small fires from a variety of sources, they very neatly plug a gap in the already high standards of pit lane safety.

Although the Aston Martin Racing team did not achieve outright victory, in finishing fourth as the highest placed petrol-engined car, a high degree of satisfaction was taken from the result. As an official partner of Aston Martin Racing, Lifeline would like to congratulate them on their outstanding achievement and wish them success in their future efforts.
